Ok this is not well thought out -

I saw someone say that Nathalie REALLY does not give mum vibes. It just doesn't fit with her personality. I agree - I think that, for Adrien (and Marinette, which is what makes their dynamic so funny), she's more like an older sister. You hear those stories of older sisters who have to step up because the parents are shitty or absent or just generally not great (hi) or are dead? Ya. Obviously this is just my opinion, but I think it's way cuter if Adrien kinda sees her as similar to an auntie or a big sister anyway.

Plus enemies-to-siblings is THE funniest thing they could've done with Ladybug and Mayura.

So imagine if Ebisu moved away from his Hating Haruaki arc and actually fell for him and tried pursuing him, and Sano becomes a Certified EbiHaru Hater™ but he's specifically disapproving of Ebisu.

Sano says stuff like "No, you're not worthy of Seimei" and actively hinders Ebisu's efforts to flirt with or court Haru.

Though, to Haru's face Sano's all like "I don't want to be family with someone like you, Seimei."

Correct me if I'm wrong because English isn't my native language but I've got a funny explanation for fandom meta :

When I say I'm a Starscream apologist, it means "I see him committing many crimes and still love him. Maybe I love him because he commits crimes and I support women's wrongs"

When I say I'm a Rodimus defender, it means "I see him committing crimes and deny that they're crimes in the first place. Your Honour my client pleads not guilty"

Basically imo the line between character apologist and character defender is very thin and you cross the border by going nuh-uh when someone brings up said character's flaws.

honestly i feel like mc and rays relationship would have moments of high stress. like there will be good times but also the bad times will also be there and its sometimes gonna be because of outside factors they cant control
